Program Management Projects

MRM Recycling Oregon Plan Manager -
2008 to present:
EP is the statewide
manager of the largest of the four authorized plans
that implement Oregon eCycles, the legislated
electronics recycling program. EP’s responsibilities
to the group of two dozen manufacturers includes
recruiting, maintaining and educating the full
collection network, monitoring the performance of
the plan, maintaining communications between DEQ,
the collectors and the manufacturers, and working
closely with the material processor in Oregon. In
addition, EP is responsible for all of the
information DEQ requires for tracking of the
recycled electronic devices and for writing the plan
proposal and ushering it through the authorization
process.

Solid Waste Association of North America Oregon
Chapter Resource Consultant –
2005 to present:
EP supports the
Board of Directors in their endeavors. EP provides
multiple services to the Oregon Chapter, including
agenda and minutes for the monthly Board meetings,
assistance in the creation of forums and symposiums,
and organizational assistance for the quarterly
member meetings and tours.

Association of Oregon Recyclers, Resource Director -
2005 - 2010: Managed
the activities of the organization, supported the
Board in their endeavors, and advocated for the
organization through all contacts. EP was the
contact person for the membership as well as the
outside world for this active organization. EP
managed the membership, the accounting, provided
newsletters and other information, and helped manage
the creation of conferences and symposiums. EP has
been a member of this statewide trade organization
since 1993.
